“Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me,” a one-man show with a cast of six, had an open-ended Broadway run at the Bernard B Jacobs Theatre in New York City on west 45th street.

The show officially opened on August 17th, 2006. Aside from Martin Short, Mary shared the stage with consummate comedy performers Capathia Jenkins, Brooks Ashmanskas, Marc Shaiman, and Nicole Parker (later replaced by the wonderful Donna Vivino). Mary played many roles (Joan Rivers, Judy Garland and Jodi Foster to name a few) opposite some of Marty’s most beloved characters.
Here she appears as a Dorothy-esque character in a long-lost clip from a Canadian version of a film eerily like The Wizard Of Oz with Marty playing a talking fence
